Did you know the color purple is mentioned 48 times in the [King James] Bible? Along with blue and crimson (or scarlet), purple has long been a symbol of royalty. Most importantly, purple is one of our Lord's colors. As a Child of the King, I, and my website, display this color both proudly and humbly.

Welcome to my new . . . well . . . newly re-designed Home on the Web.

Are you mentally humming a tune with a similar title? Or is it just me? And, trust me, that's entirely possible.

Anyway, I hope you'll pardon my front page announcement. But, hey, it's my website and I'll brag if I want to.

Why am I thinking in musical metaphors?

Please help me celebrate!

Isn't it gorgeous?  And it's all mine!

To See the Sun, a Romantic Suspense, is my debut novel, Book 1 in the Desert Sun series. I'm so excited! And I love the way the cover turned out.

You know, God is faithful . . . always . . . as long as we stay in His will and follow his leading. Even if it takes twenty years.

There was a time I doubted that, for the very reason that it was taking so long for my dream to happen. But last year God gave me a word, with an implied promise. And that word was TRUST. Because something like that had never happened to me, although I know a number of people that deliberately ask the Lord for a word for each coming new year. So I knew this word meant something specific just for me because I did not ask for it.

The biggest excitement, though, was the day my box of the finished product arrived.

The UPS guy said he'd never picked up something so heavy!

Look at all those lovely, shiny covers!

This is the picture I took with my computer's webcam the day

the proof copy arrived. The one I took when the books

arrived probably won't ever see the light of day.

This one is no glamour shot, either, but it'll do.
